Is there a weight limit for the Chiropractic Drop Table?

ABCO Health Care provides a few different options for drop tables. The maximum weight capacity in our range is 250 kg.

When using the ABCO Health Care Hylo Chiropractic Table with Drops, patients weighing up to 200kg are tilted effortlessly from standing to prone in only 11 seconds, while the Elevation adjustment will handle more than 250kg.

What features do chiropractic drop tables come with?

• Are heavy-duty, fully adjustable, and are created with high-quality upholstery to ensure comfort and extended life
• Have a great range of height adjustability as well as adjustable positioning for lumbar, leg extension, dorsal, pelvic, and cervical treatment.
• Are designed with a drop section which, when pressure is applied, allows practitioners to perform adjustments more effectively
• Twin column structure; for a more rigid work surface, eliminates lengthwise movement and reduces pinch points
• Electronic foot control, for easy adjustment of the table

How do drop tables differ from standard chiropractic tables?

Drop tables are equipped with segmented sections that can be raised and released throughout a chiropractic treatment to facilitate specific techniques and methods.

A mechanism allows the drop section to be raised and securely locked in position, and when pressure is applied the lock releases and the section drops back in to place. ABCO Health Care drop tables utilise a foot press for body cocking as a standard feature of the tables.

How is the drop function controlled?

There are two methods for control of the drop sections.

Our Elevation Chiropractic Table with Drops and Hylo Chiropractic Table with Drops come with 4 drops controlled with foot press body drop cocking as a standard. Alternatively a hand cocking option is available at no additional cost.

Our 3 Drop Elevation Chiropractic Table and 3 Drop Stationary Chiropractic Table come with 3 drops controlled with hand operated drop pieces. These options do not include a cervical drop.

Can I purchase a table with wheels?

Our drop tables come with two options; retractable wheels or baseplate without wheels. The baseplate without wheels is suitable for areas where the table will remain stationary and mobility is not needed. Whereas the table with retractable wheels can be a more convenient option where regular relocation of the table may be needed eg. a small or shared working space.

When the table is in a stationary position, the wheels can be retracted to ensure the table remains firmly in place without risk of unintended movement.
